Entry description

A Low Tide Memory
‘The inspiration for my bowl comes from a gruelling rowing experience, where I fought against the energy of a strong, swirling low tide to get home. The manufacturing process involved a pierced shape that was put through a rolling mill to add texture and distort the form. It was then pressed into a wooden block, and point soldered to strengthen it. My bowl is aimed towards the decorative-statement ‘vessel market’ sector and will only be made from pewter.’
