Éirinn is a second year Designer Maker student at Hastings College. Growing up in the rural town of Rye developed in her an interest in nature, history, and folklore which has influenced her work. Éirinn is happy experimenting with any medium but enjoys illustration the most. Pewter is new to Éirinn. By entering Pewter Live she has learnt how versatile it is and intends to use it in her final piece at university.

Whale Fall Corset
‘This piece is a corset-belt boned with pewter inspired by the unique environment created by whale falls where the carcass of a whale falls to the ocean floor, an environment where the sun is not the main source of energy. Charms resembling deep-sea scavengers adorn the belt showing the range of colours pewter can achieve.’
