Gill Clement is a jewellery designer based in Mumbles, South Wales. She studied at Sir John Cass School of Art in the City of London (1978-1982). Gill works with pewter to create jewellery collections and bridal pieces and in repoussé for mirrors and interiors.

‘Creative energy is the drive behind this necklace. Each pewter bead is made of hand-rolled embossed foil. The stones are semi-precious, believed since ancient times to have a positive effect on the wearer’s life. The colours and forms were made by the Earth’s energy trapping whatever transformation of matter took place at the moment of formation. Today’s market attaches increased significance on the properties and sources of the materials we use. This necklace represents the creative energy that has driven me for the last 40 years.
