About Sara Lee

Sara lives in rural East Sussex and is in her final year of a BA Hons Designer Maker degree at University Centre Hastings. She is a narrative maker who responds from a personal pespective to the environment around her including social issues and world events. Sara is a multidisciplinary artist enjoying the crossover of materials, tools and processes with craftsmanship as a fundamental focus.

Entry description

Unity is a gender-neutral, jewellery piece that transforms and can be worn in five different styles. When not worn, it can be displayed as a small sculpture. It is made mostly with pewter with reclaimed silver from x rays and gold plated silver for strength and tension.
