About Gill Clement

I am a jewellery designer, working from my studio in Mumbles, South Wales. Studied at Sir John Cass School of Art in the City of London, 1978-1982. I work with pewter for jewellery collections, bridal pieces, through to repousse mirrors for interiors.

My work is often cast by A.E. Williams in Birmingham. My latest use of pewter is pleating foils and wrapping special cut raw stones in foil which I have embossed with old lace. I have always loved the malleability and warmth of pewter and the many different ways to use the metal; always challenging my previous ideas.
