Gregory studied Product Design BSc at Buckinghamshire New University and was first introduced to working with Pewter in 2018, an experience he found to be very inspiring. He has gone on to work with pewter using both engineering metal work, and woodwork techniques, tools and techniques allowing him to create pieces combining wood and metal in a fluid fashion.
Entry description
My design is inspired by the razor edge styling of the Art Deco movement from the 1920s. I wanted to create a contemporary piece of usable design, harnessing the elegance and fun of the roaring 20’s into a gin decanter fit for the fast paced modern world
