Roë Holcome began her BA Hons Degree began her course as a Designer Maker at University Centre Hastings in 2019 and is currently in her final year. Roë feels this course has broadened her horizons and has given her the confidence to stretch herself to experiment with new techniques and to try working with new materials. She has found working with Pewter most enjoyable and an absolute pleasure.
Entry description
Small contemporary pewter sculpture designed to be displayed in a modern house setting, perhaps on a windowsill or sideboard. This to be primarily made of Pewter sheet and cast pewter. The wires for the butterflies will be made from stainless steel. Inspired by freedom the butterflies can fly free.
